Workout: Couch to 5K Week 7 Day 1
Diet: Need to work on my post run munchies!
Sunday was a cold & blustery day …
… but I didn’t let that deter me from my second 25 minute run! I bundled up and got to it! I decided to do the four mile loop around my neighborhood for an extra workout. I did the scheduled Couch to 5K run then walked rest of the way home.
There were many obstacles in my path, like branches and leaves, barking dogs and my neighborhood version of Heartbreak Hill. (Luckily, I ran down instead of up it this time.)
But, it was like the winds propelled me forward. After the first five minutes of discomfort, running was smooth and relatively easy! Dare I say I had a runner’s high?
In all, I’m so happy that running is getting easier after each workout. I’m so glad I’m doing Couch to 5K to get back in shape. Working on my diet is next!
